In the Classroom: Science

Building Homes of Our Own players can bring science and scientific principles to life as they conduct research and see visual demonstrations:
Hydrology/geology demonstrations of erosion
Missile testing of debris fields
Earthquake tests on shake tables
Energy efficiency experiments such as blower door tests and passive solar heating

When more expertise is needed, players can call on experts, such as:
A soil scientist to survey, do soil engineerings, and borings
An archeologist to help determine if there are sensitive, cultural issues with the land
An environmental consultant to comment on environmental aspects of lots, and
An architect/land planner to give expert advice covering architecture and landscaping.
